October 2025 SSFRC Conference in Chicago

ALAS Student Coordinators Selected to Present at Annual SSRFC Conference in Chicago October 2025

We are proud to announce that several of our ALAS student coordinators have been selected to present their research at the upcoming Society for Student-Run Free Clinics Conference (SSRFC) in Chicago, October 4–5, 2025!

This is an incredible recognition of the innovation, commitment, and impact that our coordinators bring to the Augusta community through ALAS’s 10 student-run clinics. Their projects reflect not only their dedication to research but also their passion for improving access to care for underserved populations.

We also want to highlight the essential mentorship of Dr. Ingrid Camelo, ALAS Vice-President & Research Director, and Dr. Juan Rivera-Salva, ALAS Medical Director, along with our faculty Principal Investigators at the Medical College of Georgia. Their support has made this work possible and continues to guide our students as future physician-leaders!
