OUR MIssion

The Free Mental Health Clinic is a free clinic for individuals who are uninsured or under-insured and are also 200% below the federal poverty line. We treat all qualifying patients for their psychiatric and mental health needs and strive to provide the highest level of care to all.

At the free clinic, we provide psychiatric evaluations and medication (no controlled substances) management services for adult patients aged 18 years and older. We are a new addition to the ALAS free health clinics, founded by residents of the AU Health Psychiatry Department.

Our appointments are currently being conducted via telehealth calls on the final Tuesday of each month from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., and we do have a waitlist in place. If you are interested in signing up for our waitlist, please use the link below!

Virtual Support Group

We are excited to announce that the Free Mental Health Clinic is now offering a virtual support group for our patients, allowing additional opportunities for mental health support beyond regular follow-up visits. This peer-led virtual support group is intended to provide a safe space for patients to share their struggles with others, feel connected with others in their community, and develop effective coping strategies!
