ALAS Receives National Recognition from the NAFC for Quality Standards in 2025

We’re proud to announce that ALAS has been awarded the 2025 Bronze Rating by the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (NAFC) in recognition of our commitment to quality standards in healthcare for the medically underserved.

This national recognition is based on the information submitted in our 2025 Annual Member Data & Standards Survey and reflects ALAS's ongoing dedication to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to individuals and families who are uninsured, underinsured, or facing financial barriers.

The NAFC Quality Standards Program was established to ensure that Free and Charitable Clinics across the country are delivering effective, safe, and patient-centered care. Meeting these standards helps demonstrate to policymakers, partners, funders, and the community that organizations like ours are providing care that is not only accessible — but also meets important benchmarks for excellence.

What this recognition means:

Validates the high-quality, patient-centered care we provide at ALAS clinics

Highlights our transparency, accountability, and commitment to improvement

Strengthens our ability to advocate for resources and partnerships to support our mission

We are honored to join a national network of clinics working to improve health equity across the country. Thank you to our incredible volunteers, healthcare providers, and community partners — your dedication made this achievement possible.
