Our Mission

Halo Clinic is a free clinic for all individuals affected by substance misuse and those who do not have health insurance and/or live below 200% of the national poverty level. Care at Halo is focused on providing comprehensive longitudinal care, rehabilitation support, and specialist referrals for those on their recovery journeys.

At clinic, we provide free wellness check-ups, sick visits, physical exams, laboratory testing, and rehabilitation/specialist referrals.

We accept walk-ins (when available) and book appointments via online registration, phone call, email, and text message. Our clinic is held at Centro Medico on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6:00pm—9:00pm excluding holidays.

Learn More About Our Services:

—Rehabilitation Support: Community partnerships with The Hale Foundation and Hope House provides rapid support to instill self-sufficiency in individuals and families through comprehensive treatment to end the cycle of substance misuse.

—Longitudinal Primary Care Services: Management of chronic conditions (i.e. hypertension, diabetes), medication management, preventative health screenings, health-promotion counseling, and specialist coordination.

—Acute Care Services: Evaluation and treatment of non-emergent, acute medical issues such as colds, sore throats, coughs, headaches, rashes, and minor sprains.

—Laboratory Testing: Partnered with an offsite lab for blood work but do provide STD testing reimbursement, urine drug screens, and FOBT.

—Dental: The Dental College of Georgia provides free screenings at clinic (before arrival, message to confirm, dependent on current demand).

—Specialist Referrals: Referrals to ALAS-affiliated clinics for dermatology, musculoskeletal, vision, and women’s health. Community referrals for dental and addiction care specialists.
