ALAS (Asociación Latina de Asistencia y Servicios) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to free, compassionate, and culturally responsive healthcare for underserved individuals in Augusta and the Central Savannah River Area.

We provide free healthcare to uninsured and underinsured individuals of all ages in Augusta and the CSRA. We welcome individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, with in-person interpreter services and multilingual staff available to ensure that every patient recieves care in the language they’re most comfortable with.

Based out of Centro Médico, our ten entirely volunteer-run clinics operate on different days of the week to provide free, comprehensive health services—ranging from adult and pediatric primary care to specialty care in dermatology, women’s health, vision, mental health, and more.

Our care model brings together a team of medical students and licensed helath professionals working side by side to deliver accessible, respectful, and high-quality care rooted in collaboration and community trust.
